As a Red Raider, Ty Harpenau made 52 appearances over three seasons tossing over 120 innings and notched 112 strikeouts.

Harpenau took a huge step forward this season finishing with career bests in appearances and opponents batting average. He also cut his ERA down by three runs and became the teams best reliever over the last stretch of the season.

Harpenau enjoyed numerous outings as a Red Raider, two of his best coming in back to back appearances against Louisville and Duke in the Regional and Super Regional this postseason. Harpenau also pitched four innings in a pivotal game two against Oklahoma State sweep in Stillwater to save the Texas Tech hosting bid.

That solid end to his Junior year got Harpenau drafted in the 16th round by the Braves, joining Ryan Shetter. Harpenau announced his decision to accept the Braves offer came via twitter.com.
