Two More Reagor-Dykes Employees Plead Guilty
Two more former Reagor-Dykes employees have pleaded guilty to charges relating to the bankruptcy of the RD companies.
Lindsay Clare Williams admitted to conspiracy to commit bank fraud and has agreed to be held responsible for more than $23 million in restitution. Paige Anna Johnston admitted to conspiracy to commit wire fraud and agreed to be held responsible for more than $27 million in restitution.
They both face up to 5 years in federal prison as part of their deals.
Reagor-Dykes was sued by Ford Motor Company on July 31st of 2018, and the next day RD filed for bankruptcy.
The details surrounding the case against Williams were similar to the cases filed against former Reagor-Dykes CFO Shane Smith and former employees Diana Herrera Urias and Sheila Evans Miller, all of whom have pleaded guilty to charges.
Johnston's case, however, was focused on floor plan fraud. KAMC News reports that Johnston helped falsify automotive sales records so it looked like RD owed Ford Motor Credit less than it actually did.
