Tomlin is penciled in as the game three starter when the Indians travel to Boston, which is slated for a 3 p.m. first pitch on TBS on Sunday, October 9.

Tomlin won 13 games this season for the Indians and has a 1.78 ERA over his last four starts. Tomlin struck out 118 batters this season.

Tomlin pitched one season at Texas Tech in 2006 before being drafted by the Indians the same year.

Tomlinson seems to be a lock for the Giants NLDS roster as the utility infielder. In his second season in the majors, Tomlinson has pieced together a .292 batting average, racking up 31 hits, while driving in six RBI and scoring 13 runs. He's made appearances at SS, 2B, 3B and LF this season.

Tomlinson played one season at Texas Tech in 2011 before being selected in the 12th round of the 2011 MLB Draft by the Giants.

While both of these players were around before Tim Tadlock, there presence in the MLB speaks a great deal to the quality of guys in this program. Along with six total players on MLB rosters, there are also 25 Texas Tech players in the Minor League.
