Police Arrest Two People for Murder After Skeletal Remains Found at Lubbock Home
Two people have been arrested and charged with the murder of the unidentified deceased individual discovered last Wednesday.
According to a press release from the Lubbock Police Department, 38-eight-year-old Kethan Anderson was arrested Monday morning in Hereford, and 31-year-old Anna Smith was arrested Friday night (Nov. 30th) in Burleson.
The skeletal remains of the victim were found in the backyard of an abandoned home in the 2100 block of 20th Street. The Lubbock County Medical Examiners Office is still working to identify the victim, who is believed to be a male.
A portion of the arrest warrant (via Everything Lubbock) said that Smith had caught the victim exposing himself over her while she had been asleep. Smith confronted the victim about it over an hour later and admitted to pulling a knife on him. Anderson then tackled the victim to the ground, and Smith helped hold him down while Anderson strangled the victim with his hands.
Both suspects are expected to be transferred to the Lubbock County Detention Center at a later date.
