Many pro football players head to the broadcast booth after their playing days are done. Players like Tony Romo, Michael Strahan, Michael Irvin, Deion Sanders, and Drew Brees have all joined broadcast teams since retiring. Tom Brady has plans to follow suit.

In a statement NFL on Fox, we learned this morning Tom Brady will join the Fox NFL broadcast team and will work alongside Kevin Burkhardt.

"We are pleased to announce that immediately following his playing career, 7-time Super Bowl Champion Tom Brady will be joining us at FOX Sports as our lead analyst. Over the course of this long-term agreement, Tom will not only call our biggest NFL games with Kevin Burkhardt, but will also serve as an ambassador for us, particularly with respect to clients and promotional initiatives.
We are delighted that Tom has committed to joining the Fox team and wish him all the best during this upcoming season."
FOX CORPORATION EXECUTIVE CHAIR & CEO – Lachlan Murdoch
There is a caveat, however, that he won't join the broadcast team until he is done playing, whenever that may be!
Tom Brady retweeted NFL on Fox's post by saying:

The seven-time Super Bowl winner announced earlier in the season that he would be retiring but then a short time after decided to unretire. Not really sure what unfinished business Tom has with the NFL, since once again he is SEVEN-TIME  Super Bowl Champion.

I know there are a lot of fans that were Tom Brady would hang up, but I guess we will have to wait for another day. But I am also going to say this could happen sooner than later since Troy Aikman and Joe Buck have left Fox for ESPN.
