Tips On Staying Hydrated For A Walk Or A Marathon
The Mayor's Marathon is on Sunday and with that event happening this weekend, Brenda Duby with United Supermarkets stopped by to discuss ways of staying hydrated.
According to Duby, not all drinks are the same when it comes to hydration. According to Duby, if you are looking to replenish after a walk or a short run, water is the best way of staying hydrated. Duby suggested either eating watermelon or putting watermelon juice your water to help replenish your body.
Gatorade works great for endurance according to Duby. So, if you are training for and running in the marathon this weekend, load up on Gatorade.
