As the end of the year rolls around, it’s time to enjoy many people's favorite holidays, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

These holidays tend to come with the gathering of friends and family to eat yummy food and enjoy drinks. If you’re anything like me then you love to have a delicious cocktail of the night that you can make for everyone to sip on while socializing. Not only is it a delicious treat, but it sets the tone for the evening and gives a more organized and formal feeling to any party.

When thinking about fall and winter holidays, the first thing that comes to mind is ‘cozy’. Sure, you can drink summer drinks like lemonade and iced tea any time of year, but what really sounds nice on a chilly evening is a cup of cider or hot chocolate. What does great with both of those drinks? Sugar cookies.

So, why not make a sugar cookie martini?

All you need is vanilla vodka, amaretto, and Irish cream liquor. Mix two parts vodka and amaretto with one and a half parts Irish cream, shake with ice, and pour into a chilled martini glass 9or whatever you have on hand). Add a dash of cinnamon for a snickerdoodle twist, or top with sprinkles for the perfect Instagramable photo.

It’s cozy, it’s yummy, and it’s sure to get you drunk (if that’s your goal). Of course, you can substitute anything to fit your preferences and change up the proportions however you’d like.

An extra thing you can do to really make it special is rim your glass with frosting and sprinkles before adding the cocktail. This will really make it pop and give it a cute look.
