The Texas State Fair will now Have a ‘Veggie’ Corndog Available

Fletcher's Corny Dog stand will feature the vegetarian option when the fair opens Sept. 25th.

Fox News 4 reports that there has been a growing demand for a vegetarian version of the corndog since they tested one at a booth on Earth Day.

Don't worry though, you can still get the original, turkey and jalapeno and cheese dogs as well.

This does beg the question however. If you're that worried about your health where you think you need a meatless corndog, do you really care?  I mean, it's still deep fat fried in oil and you probably put a bunch of mustard and ketchup on it too.

Bottom line is that if you don't like to eat meat that's fine, but don't tell me about how healthy you are when you need to have a "veggie-dog".
