Globe Life Field is getting closer to completion and enjoyed its first home runs today courtesy of Joey Gallo hitting monster blasts over the construction cranes in right field.

How far is right field in the new ballpark, you ask? Well here's your answer.

The dimensions have been released, and they correspond to some iconic figures in Texas Rangers history. You can see the photos below.

The left field line honors Adrian Beltre at 329'. Just to the right of that in left center will honor Nolan Ryan at 334'. The center field dimensions honor Michael Young and Pudge Rodriguez with points of 410' and 407'. In right center, the Turnaround Gang of 1974 who won 84 games after losing 54 the previous season are honored at 374'. Finally, the right field foul pole is set at 326' for the legendary Johnny Oates.

The distance between home plate and the back wall is 42' in honor of Jackie Robinson.

Globe Life Field will officially open for its first baseball game in March 2020, but it's getting very close to being completed and starting to look really cool.
