It's a special tribute to Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper, commemorating The Day The Music Died, Friday, February 3rd at The Library Bar.

Featured artist for this big event is Junior Vasquez. You can see him perform from 6:30-9:30 p.m. and there is no cover charge.

Since Junior picked up a guitar at age 10, music has been his passion. A West Texas native, his early influences include The Beatles and Jim Croce.

Vasquez worked with the Cactus Theater in the 90s, has written and created many local commercial jingles, produced a solo album and had his acting debut in the movie 'The Arroyo' in 2014.

Don't miss what is part of the First Friday's Unplugged Series, February 3rd at The Library Bar, 1701 Texas Avenue, Lubbock.
