The LCU Lady Chaps Will Play Big 12 Games This Week

The Lubbock Christian Lady Chaps basketball team are coming off of a National Championship in 2018-2019 and are starting this new season off with a "Power Exhibtion" schedule that will get them ready for their regular season.

That exhibition schedule will start Monday night October 28th against the Texas Longhorns in Austin which you can watch on the LHN. Then the Lady Chaps will go to Waco on Wednesday October 30th to play a defending champ vs defending champ battle against the Baylor Bears who won the NCAA tournament last season. The Lady Chaps will then finish with an SEC opponent on November 4th playing Mississippi State. All three of these opponents finished last season in the top 25.

The Lady Chaps have 9 players returning from last years championship squad including three starters. They add three players including a JUCO transfer, a Wellington Lady Rocket and a Canyon Lady Eagle.

This will be a gauntlet of a stretch for the Lady Chaps but it will definitely show coach Steve Gomez what he has moving into the upcoming season.
