When you are putting on a show and performing in front of thousands, you always want to look and of course sound your best. When it comes to sound, the Goin' Band from Raiderland is already the best, now they want to look their best. And in order for that to happen, they need your help.

Don't worry, the overall look doesn't sound like it is changing for the Goin' Band that adopted its iconic Spanish style uniform in 1984. But the fact is the current uniforms are old. Really old when you take into account the lifespan of the average uniform. According to the Goin' Band's site, the current uniform is more than 13 years old. The average lifespan of a band uniform is ten years. So the good news is that Texas Tech and the Goin' Band from Raiderland have proved that they take care of their uniforms.

The Goin' Band from Raiderland has launched a campaign to purchase new uniforms in time for Texas Tech's 2023 Centennial celebration. The good news is that funding for the majority of the campaign is in place, they just need our help to get them over the funds needed according to Texas Tech's website.

We need your help to fund our current campaign to purchase new uniforms for the greatest band in the land!

While the TTU Office of the President and the J.T. & Margaret Talkington College of Visual & Performing Arts are providing funding for the majority of this effort, we also need your help to purchase new uniforms for the greatest band in the land in time for Texas Tech's 2023 Centennial celebration!

In a flyer that went out recently, the Goin' Band from Raiderland needs our help in order to purchase new gaucho hats, uniform jackets, bibbers, and capes for 500 students.
