The annual Early Settlers Day in Levelland is this Saturday on Levelland's downtown square according to the Levelland Chamber of Commerce.

This is a great big fun day for the whole family! Things get rolling at 6:30 am with a Pancake Breakfast and the parade is underway at 9:30 am.

Water slide fun for the kids opens at 11, and live music at the gazebo and the stick horse race also roll out then.

Additional activities from the Chamber of Commerce site, include:

Children's train ride, water slides, antique tractor display, food vendors, craft vendors, and much more.

According to their Facebook page this is a day about honoring our heritage:

Early Settlers Day is a time to pay tribute to those who first settled in the area as musicians and vendors surround the downtown square and county courthouse to have a good time and honor the pioneers of the past.
