Texas Will Be Getting Dogs to Help Fight Child Pornography

These special dogs help find prosecute former Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle.
KVUE reports that these dogs are know as "pornography dogs" and there are only a couple of these specially trained dogs in the county.

They are able to sniff out an adhesive commonly found in electronic storage devices like thumb drive and hard drivers.  Child porn is often stored and hidden on these devices.

And coming soon, the first of its crime-fighting kind in Texas and will be helping in the Montgomery County and Houston area.

The report says a special dog was able to find the special devices hidden at the residence of former Subway spokesperson Jared Fogle. This proved to be vital in prosecuting Fogle and led to his guilty plea.
