Texas Tech Will Open Big 12 Tournament with Texas

Texas has been arguably the hottest Big 12 team to close out the regular season while Texas Tech has taken the opposite approach to close out the season. Both finish with 9-9 Big 12 records, along with West Virginia and Oklahoma. Now, the two will play each other to open the Big 12 tournament on Thursday at 11:30 am in Kansas City.

According to Ken Pomeroy the Red Raiders have the 4th best odds to win the Big 12 tournament, which would guarantee them a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
