The United Supermarkets Arena will be rocking Monday night even though the Texas Tech men's basketball team will be hundreds of miles away.

Sunday afternoon, Texas Tech Athletics announced that the arena will be hosting a free watch party beginning at 7 p.m. Monday, April 8th. Seats will be available on a first come, first-served basis. Doors will be closed at halftime or when capacity is reached, the school said.

The championship game between the Texas Tech Red Raiders and Virginia Cavaliers will be shown on the arena's video boards. Tipoff is expected at 8:20 p.m.

Fans who'd like to attend will be able to park in the lots north and west of the arena. Free shuttle service (starting at 6:45 p.m. and ending an hour after the game ends) will be available from the S1 parking lots near the John Walker Soccer Complex, Texas Tech Athletics confirmed in a press release.

A couple other things to know: Texas Tech's clear bag policy will be observed. Concessions will also be available.
