With the Texas Tech Red Raider baseball team advancing to Omaha for the third time in four years, all eyes were on the UCLA Super Regional against Michigan Sunday night.

UCLA was the no. 1 overall team in college baseball, but were knocked off by the Wolverines 4-2 in Sunday's winner-takes-all game to move on to Omaha.

That means that the Red Raiders will face the Wolverines in their first game in Omaha this weekend.

It's worth noting that in the three-game series between Texas Tech and Michigan earlier this year, Texas Tech handily managed a sweep. Just some food for thought.

The no. 8 Red Raiders will face off against Michigan on either Saturday, June 15, or Sunday, June 16, in the opener of the College World Series from TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha, Nebraska.
