The Red Raiders landed seven players onto the preseason list put out by the publication that deals exclusively with football in the great state of Texas.

Texas Tech landed four Red Raiders on the first team, including two offensive lineman and high school teammates Jack Anderson and Dawson Deaton. Joined on the first team were defensive lineman Eli Howard, and the best punter in the Big 12, Austin McNamara.

The second team saw receiver Erik Ezukanma, defensive back Adrian Frye and running back SaRodorick Thompson get the nod. Texas Tech and SMU were the only two programs to get four or more players on the first team.
