The Texas Rangers made the Kyle Gibson signing official on Friday morning more than a week after the initial agreement between the two.

It's a three year contract for Gibson who will make $11 million in 2020, $10 million in 2021, $7 million in 2022, and can earn an additional $3 million through incentives.

He joins a rotation that features fellow right-hander Lance Lynn and left-hander Mike Minor, who finished fifth and eighth in American League Cy Young voting last month.

In 2019 for the Twins, Gibson finished with a 13-7 record and held a 4.84 ERA in 29 starts.
