Multiple sources are now reporting that the State Farm College Baseball Showdown is being pushed back a day. That means the games will start on Saturday instead of Friday morning. The news was reported by both Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News and Kendall Rogers of D1Baseball.com.

Texas Tech has confirmed that the Texas Rangers and Globe Life Field announced that the tickets will be honored on Saturday and Sunday and the Friday Tickets will be available for use on Monday. All six schools seem poised to make the trip. Both TCU and Texas will join the Red Raiders in Arlington to play the SEC trio of Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Arkansas.

According to the ticket website, the Saturday passes are sold out but tickets are still available for Sunday and Monday. A single-day pass will be good for all three games that day. All seating will be general admission.

All six teams are highly touted coming into the 2021 season with all six teams inside the top 10 of the D1baseball top 25. Texas Tech the highest rated at 3rd. Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Arkansas, Texas and TCU rank 6th through 10 respectively.
