Texas Man Swept Away by Rushing Water Found Alive

Crews were very pessimistic about finding him alive after he fell six fee of cold water moving at 30 mph.

According to News 4 San Antonio, the 41-year-old and his girlfriend were walking their dog around 3 a.m. Saturday. The dog headed for a drainage ditch and he man rushed after him but fell into the water.

Monday someone saw what appeared to be a homeless man walking naked about a mile and a half from where he fell in. It turned out to be the 41-year-old.

Authorities were amazed he live through it and figured he must have been unconscious for awhile. He was taken to the hospital and released, his injuries were minor.

The girlfriend and dog were not injured.
