Thanks to copper thieves the Houston area school has no lights for practicing after dark.

KHOU say the parents got creative and use their headlights to light things up for practice. Five years ago copper thieves disable their lights so now their biggest opponent is the sun.

Their coach Robert Ester hopes it will teach them a lesson about respect because someone took something that didn't belong to them and now they're suffering.

They can only practice twice a week which makes it hard playing against kids who practice all week.

Now they are trying to raise the $30,000 dollars they need to bring back the lights to their game.
