Texas Father Finally Vindicated After Being Arrested for Taking Daughter’s Cellphone

The incident happened back in 2013 but has just now finally been settled in court.

CBS-DFW reports that Ronald Jackson of Grand Prairie Texas found a text on his daughter's phone that he found disturbing. It was plans to attack another kid, so as punishment he confiscated her phone.

But a few hours later law enforcement showed up and told him to give the phone back. According to the report the girl had told her mom that dad took her phone. The mother is re-married a police officer, so he went after Jackson.

He refused to give the phone back and he was arrested.

Tuesday he was in court facing a misdemeanor theft charge. The judge took his side and threw out the charges, so finally justice has prevailed.

Unfortunately it ended his relationships with his daughter and ex-wife, both who testified against him.

He now has plans to go after the city and the police for targeting him.
