Texas DPS Seize Over 140 Pounds of Marijuana in Fort Bend County

Texas DPS seized over 140 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop over the weekend in Fort Bend County.

Sunday evening (Nov. 25), a DPS Trooper stopped a truck travelling on I-69 near Kendleton for a traffic violation. During the stop the trooper discovered 143 pounds of marijuana in a tool box in the bed of the truck.

The driver, 26 year-old Roland Cavazos Jr., and passenger, 23 year-old Bryan Cavazos, of the truck were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, then booked into the Fort Bend County Jail.
