Taylor Swift knew she'd be talking music during a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (Oct. 3), but she had no idea what else the host had in store for her.

Imagine Swift's surprise when she realize Fallon not only somehow knew that she recently underwent Lasik eye surgery, but that her mother, Andrea Swift, had filmed her after the surgery, and that Fallon had the video.

Swift was suspicious the minute the host brought it up — she says she hasn't told anyone about the surgery — and her reaction to learning the drug-influenced post-surgery video would be shown on television? Priceless.

The clip shows Swift in her "really high-fashion" goggles, which are taped to her head, to keep her from taking them off. She's in the kitchen, wearing a teddy bear sweater and acting very loopy as she goes for a snack, attempting to pluck a banana from the bunch. She gets frustrated when the wrong one pops off, which sets her off emotionally, and she starts to tear up. Mom Andrea tells Swift, 29, that crying isn't allowed while she's healing, but the hilarity doesn't end there.

The next 'scene' shows the pop megastar in bed, attempting to eat the chosen banana. Her mom reminds her that she shouldn't fall asleep while eating, to which Swift responds:

"I'm not asleep, my mind is alive."

"She was kind enough to drive me there but cruel enough to film it?" Swift asks Fallon after the clip is over. He reveals he and Andrea Swift have been friends for years and maintain contact with one another — to Swift's surprise, and apparently, her embarrassment.

Instead of touring her new Lover album, Swift says she be performing at a number of international festivals next year, as well as headlining her own Lover Fests, named after her seventh studio album, Lover.
