Texas Tech stays in the winners bracket with a win over DBU, 3-2.

The day started with a solid performance from Caleb Killian who didn't have his best stuff but worked around base runners, including two inning ending double plays from his defense. He'd finish his day after 4.2 innings getting five strikeouts and getting charged with two earned runs. Taylor Floyd would replace Killian and struggle with command on the right side of the plate but be effective.

Offensively, the second inning produced three runs for Texas Tech on the back of a Cam Warren two run blast and a Braxton Fulford RBI single. After that inning though the Red Raiders went ice cold not scoring any more runs.

The Red Raiders would take a one run lead into the bottom of the 9th inning, DBU was the home team due to a coin flip, and Taylor Floyd would stay on the mound. The first year Red Raider would close out a 4.1 inning save throwing 60 plus pitches with six strikeouts and retiring the final eight DBU hitters he faced.

Texas Tech will face the winner between Florida and Dallas Baptist tomorrow.
