
Tahoka Man Arrested for Two-Vehicle Crash in South Lubbock
A Tahoka man was arrested in connection with a two-vehicle crash Sunday morning (Dec. 16) in South Lubbock.
The accident was reported just after 6:00 a.m. in the area of 94th Street and University Avenue, where police found a 69 year-old woman with serious injuries. She was taken to University Medical Center for treatment.
The suspect, 30 year-old Richard Andrew Garcia, was arrested after trying to flee the scene.
Garcia has been charged with intoxication assault with a vehicle causing serious bodily injury and failure to stop and render aid.
As of the writing of this article, Garcia has been released from jail.
