Winter Weather Advisory

Some daycares, schools, businesses and government facilities in Lubbock and surrounding areas have opted to delay their opening times.

Snowfall totals are forecast between 1 to 3 inches for Lubbock and Amarillo. Some areas of the Permian Basin may receive up to 4 inches of snow.

Lubbock drivers were seemingly unprepared for icy road conditions on Wednesday morning, Feb. 10, as the LPD has already reported more than 25 car accidents.
