The holiday shopping season kicks off with the unofficial holiday known as "Black Friday." It's a day for giant sales, stressed-out shoppers and the chance to buy things you can buy any other day of the year.

The Black Friday shopping frenzy in Lubbock has moved predominantly to Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, with many stores staying open through Friday night. Below is a list of Black Friday store hours for the major outlets in Lubbock, plus when the sales begin at the 24-hour big box stores.
