Superstar's stolen guitars are returned, except for one that was pawned at an L.A. pawn shop. The guitars were stolen less than a week before Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers had planned on kicking off a worldwide tour. Tom Petty was quoted as saying "I am extremely grateful to the Culver City Police Department for a job well done and touched by the outpouring of good wishes and concern from our fans and friends," Petty said Tuesday on the band's Facebook page. A 51 year old private security guard was charged and booked for grand theft according to Culver City Police. According to authorities one of the guitars was sold to an L.A. pawn shop. Officers were able to identify the person who sold it which led to the arrest and recovery of the other guitars that were all old and highly collectable.
