Smokin’ On The Plaza and Live Country Music in Lovington, June 16-17

It's BBQ with all the trimmings and live music from Kyle Park Friday and The Justin Kemp Band. This is the 8th Lovington Main Street's Annual Smokin' On The Plaza at the Lea County Fairgrounds June 16-17th.

According to their website and Facebook page, there's also a $10,000 prize at stake, so the competition is fierce. Expect some of the best barbecue brisket, pork spare ribs, chicken, beans and dessert. The sky is the limit and anything goes, so expect lots of surprises. Plus, there's a prize raffle of $3,500 you could get in to win.

There are so many good reasons to make the road trip to Lovington, New Mexico for this great event. The big weekend features live country music from Kyle Park Friday night and The Justin Kemp Band on Saturday. Both nights promise to deliver some high-energy, great country music.
