If you love the outdoors, gardening and learning new things you don't want to miss out on this opportunity coming to Lubbock this weekend.

You can take a self-guided tour of six awesome Lubbock gardens. From casual visitors to seasoned gardeners there is something for everyone.

From established gardens with plant and design ideas to steal to a xeriscape demonstration garden that will show ways to conquer the challenge of gardening in West Texas.

The Hub City Garden Tour is set to take place on Sunday, September 3 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The tour will be hosted by the Lubbock Master Gardener Association but it is a self-guided exploration of six Lubbock gardens.

On September 2, the garden locations will be emailed to all ticket holders. The addresses will also be publicized for those wanting to buy tickets in person on September 3.

You may start your tour in any of the six gardens, and the gardens can be viewed in any order. Each ticket holder will receive a guidebook with a map of the first garden they choose to visit. Lubbock Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions and highlight areas of interest in each garden.

Tickets are $20; kids under 13 get in free. If you would like to purchase a ticket, click here and have fun!
