Original Story (2/5/2020 4:10 p.m.)

Many school districts and organizations were closed around the South Plains on Wednesday due to Winter Weather, but some cancellations will extend into Thursday, February 6th.

As of right now, the only school district that will remain canceled for Thursday is Snyder ISD. South Plains College, however, will have all classes on all campuses delayed on Thursday until 11 a.m. If any other school districts announce cancellations or delays, we'll update this story with the information.

In the meantime, the City of Lubbock's Emergency Communications website will be updated with information concerning important public safety aspects and road closures.
