Reward Increased for One of Texas’ Most Wanted Sex Offenders
The Texas Department of Public Safety has increased the reward for information that can help them find and arrest one of their most wanted sex offenders.
34-year-old Marco Antonio Toscano is wanted for failure to register as a sex offender and a parole violation. Anyone who can tell police where he's hiding out will be rewarded with $4,000.
In 2006, Toscano was convicted in Tom Green County of indecency with a child-sexual contact after an incident involving a 9-year-old girl. In 2015, he was convicted in Edwards County of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
Police say Toscano absconded from his last known address in El Paso in September of 2018, and he's been on the run since. He has connections in the San Angelo area, as well as southern California.
Toscano is described as standing 5'6" and weighing around 195 pounds. He has tattoos on his abdomen, back, neck, left ear, left hand and both arms.
If you know where he is, there a few different ways you can let police know. All are anonymous, so you don't have to give your name.
Contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477)
Submit a tip on the DPS website by selecting Toscano's photo
Submit a tip on the DPS Facebook page by clicking "SUBMIT A TIP" in the About section
Whatever you do, please do not try to apprehend Toscano on your own. Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
Maybe the chances of him being in your area are slim, but if you can help share this information, maybe someone out there will recognize him and do the right thing.
