Poll: The COVID-19 Vaccine Is Coming. Will You Get Vaccinated?
The governor expects increased shipments of the virus each month moving forward. KFYO reported earlier that the first round of vaccines will see a shipment of 1.4 million doses.
Most likely, those first doses will go to health care works, frontline workers, and those in the most vulnerable populations. In other words, for those who are younger and generally healthy, it's going to be a while before you get the vaccine.
With coronavirus cases rising in Lubbock and throughout the State of Texas, the rollout of a vaccine couldn't come at a better time.
The question is, how many people will get the vaccine? Health experts are calling the vaccine safe and effective, but it's still the fastest a vaccine has ever been made. There have been reports that some airlines, concert providers, and even regular businesses will require people to get a vaccine before employees and customers can return.
Once you are able to get the vaccine for COVID-19, will you take it? Do you feel confident enough about the work done to come up with a vaccine? Or will you wait as long as possible before getting vaccinated? Have you decided that you wont be getting vaccinated at all?
Let us know in today's poll.
