Pinocchios Pizza in Lubbock Calls It Quits

Well, this one sucks. Pinocchios Pizza has placed their last pepperoni.

I have no idea what happened; I can only report that fans say that the pizzeria is selling all of their equipment and the store is closed. Imagine one fan's surprise when she walked in to get a pie and found out they were selling everything in the store.

I tried to find an answer on their Facebook page only to find that it hasn't been updated since 2016. We also tried to call the restaurant, and got a busy signal.

Pinocchios was a Lubbock favorite. And weren't there multiple locations at one time? The restaurant was located at 5404 4th Street, an address that I actually knew from memory. They were proud supporters of 94.5 FMX and a lot of the stuff we did back in the day.

Who knows if the proliferation of pizza places took them out, or if they just decided enough was enough? I wish the owners well and hope they move on to bigger and better things.
