Patrick Mahomes Reportedly Undergoes Wrist Surgery
Are Patrick Mahomes' NFL dreams on hold? A new report claims the Texas Tech quarterback recently had surgery for an injury sustained during the 2016 season.
Citing an unnamed source, ESPN reports that Mahomes' surgery was for an injury to his left wrist that the quarterback suffered during the Texas Tech-Oklahoma game, not the shoulder injury he suffered during the Kansas game.
Mahomes had a record-breaking season, was the country's no. 1 passer and notched All-Big 12 honors. Many expect him to enter the NFL draft, though Mahomes has yet to make the decision.
The next step for Mahomes is rehab for his wrist.
