One Of The Leading Holiday Stores Is Opening Up In Lubbock

I can already spell Christmas in the air just thinking about this.

From the company that makes every holiday and birthday special, it is finally expanding and opening a location in Lubbock.

Hallmark was started back on January 10, 1910, when a teenager from Nebraska stepped off a train in Kansas City, Mo., with little more than big dreams and two shoeboxes of picture postcards. From those inauspicious beginnings, an iconic brand was born.

More than 100 years and billions of well-wishes later, Hallmark Cards, Inc. continues to thrive with the grandsons of that Nebraska teenager at the helm.

Hallmark is one of the leaders of the greeting card industry and people also know them for their movies.

Hallmark has a special place in my heart not only for the fun sweet movies they put out that I love watching during Christmas time but they also make me think of my dad. He loves that store and always sends me stuff for each holiday. It started when I was in college and it would brighten my month every time I got one.

This is going to be a great addition to Lubbock. Right now there is no set timeline on when the store will open.
