Now’s Your Chance To Become A Texas Game Warden
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) has just opened their application process. If you've ever thought of becoming a Texas Game Warden, this is great news! TPWD doesn't accept applications everyday.
"Apps are based on need and available funding," TPWD Game Warden Aaron Sims said.
The deadline for applications is March 31st. This is the 62nd Texas Game Warden Cadet Class and is set to be an elite group of law enforcement officers. They are expected to cover land, water and air patrols for search and rescue and tactical operations.
It is required that applicants turn 21 before August 2018. Training includes 30 weeks at the Game Warden Training Center near Hamilton Texas.
There is more information available on the TPWD Facebook site, and also on the TPWD website.
