New Texas Tech & Men’s Store Sets Opening in Wolfforth

If you love to shop local this may be a new favorite place you will want to shop.

Mukewater Outfitters was started by Marshall and Shafer to make good men's gear. They wanted a store that men would love and fashion women would be impressed by.

The name comes from Mukewater Creek, which runs through Marshall's family ranch.

"After a long, hot day of working goats out on the ranch, our reward would be to run down to Mukewater and jump in. We even worked really hard to build a rope swing and ladder to get back out," said Marshall.

After finally getting the men's boutique started he was selling online in 2019 and then grew into the local farmer's market and KK's Corner Mall. Now they are making a big leap into a brick-and-mortar store.

They are most known for their gameday collection products with their signature gameday logo, Pardner. They carry many other things such as apothecary items, shorts, hats, belts, graphic tees, and much more.

Besides apparel, they have other products like their own blends of coffee, beard products, and bourbon bottle candles. Here is a little sneak peek of the new store and what it will look like.

Their grand opening is set for Friday, May 5th 2023, which is on Cinco De Mayo. The party is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Customers will be able to enjoy live music by Karlee Keeter, The Traveling Tap, Vanessa's Churreria, custom bourbon ice cream from Blizzy's Ice Cream, prizes, and much more.
