Lucio Camacho Faces Capital Murder Charges for Stabbing & Killing Mother of Three
An arrest warrant for 46-year-old Lucio Gollo Camacho of Muleshoe reveals new details into the tragic murder of a mother of three.
The warrant claims that Camacho drove to a residence at County Road 1038 in Bailey County on Friday, Jan. 5., where a woman named Petra Granados De Flores lived with her three-year-old son.
That’s where he admittedly stabbed her more than 23 times before putting her body in the bed of his maroon F-150 pickup. Camacho also admitted to kidnapping the 3-year-old boy, intending to take him to Mexico.
He drove to Garza County sometime later and confronted a corrections officer near the Dalby Prison. This resulted in a police chase that ended in Southeast Lubbock.
Camacho now faces multiple charges, including capital murder, aggravated kidnapping, and resisting and evading arrest.
