Lubbock Restaurant Vizo’s Makes a Forbes Top 100 List

Lubbock's Vizo's African Bar and Restaurant (4930 South Loop 289) is the only restaurant in West Texas to make Forbes' impressive list of the 'Top Places to Eat in the United States, according to Yelp.

The Forbes list, released in January, offers truly unique and diverse eateries, only a handful of which are even in the state of Texas. Vizo's, in 99th place, told us they're very happy to have made the list. They shared that business had indeed increased since the list came out.

They are from Cameroon, Africa, and dishes served have been passed down through generations. Vizo's African Bar and Restaurant is the first of its kind in West Texas. Looking at their menu, it's clear they take pride in their special spices and flavors that "capture the interest of all.
