Lubbock’s Mugshot Monday on a Tuesday: 41 People Arrested Through Labor day
Everyone loves a three-day weekend, but apparently the men and women that work in law enforcement don't get that luxury.
It was very busy weekend with Texas Tech winning their first home game of the season against Murray State, but apparently crime doesn't care about football team wins. This round of Mugshot Monday is a special edition because obviously we had a 3-day weekend which was much needed to ring in the start of fall.
To ease everyone back into the work week, I’ve collected some mugshots with some questionable hairstyles — think: wind tunnel. To really give you a cozy Autumn vibe, I suggest you get a tall glass of root beer and while you’re at it just add a hamburger from Whataburger or Tastee Burger on Clovis Road and University with no lettuce and just relax. Let the mugshots and their charges slowly envelope you in a wonderful ‘jumping into a pile of leaves at the age of 3’ vibe.
We do have to cut to the chase though and must push back corn boy and his catchy song about corn into the furthest reaches of our minds. It’s such a catchy song, though. We must always think before we act because anyone can end up on this list and what would happen if the day you end up on this list is Thanksgiving or Halloween? Then your year is over with!
These 41 mugshots are of people who were arrested over the Labor Day weekend (September 3rd-5th) and held in the Lubbock County Detention Center. All people featured are innocent until proven guilty and have only been charged with a crime.
