Lubbock’s First Standalone Sephora Location Sets Opening Date

If you want to go to a makeup store in Lubbock there are a couple of different options.

One of those options used to be a Sephora inside JcPenny's but they actually closed a couple of years ago and moved over to Kohl's on 98th Street.

Lubbock has never had a standalone location of a Sephora until hopefully now. A new demolition permit came out showing the cosmetics store will be opening a standalone location very soon.

If you don't know Sephora is a beauty company sold across the world. They have more than 1700 locations in North America. I normally shop online because the locations we have always had here have been small or don't have the products I need. Hopefully having two locations and/or a standalone location will change that.

I did reach out to Kohl's and an employee did confirm that Sephora is opening a location. They couldn't tell me where or when. However, according to the permits, it will be at  Kingsgate Shopping Center at 8201 Quaker Avenue, Unit 108.

According to the Sephora App, that will be the location and it should be opening on February 9th, 2023.
