Lubbock's Aloha BBQ Is Closed Again?

Every year in Lubbock people get the sad news that Aloha BBQ will be closed and it is now that time.

The last two years they were closed for a long time. People were very concerned and worried that it would never come back.

Now that they have been back open people have been happy.

Well, it is that time of the year when they temporarily close. There is a sign on their door saying they will be closed for a couple of weeks people are worried that will happen again.

I actually drive by Aloha BBQ every day for work so I have been keeping an eye out as well. I see people daily driving up to eat and it has been quiet, now I know why.

Now the sign says this, "Dear customers, we will be closed for two weeks for vacation. Reopen on May 15th, 2024. Sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you."

I will warn you, when they open back up in May there will probably be a line and be very busy for a while just prepare yourself if you do go. People do love them for all the delicious flavor and big portions of food.

I can't wait for them to open back up and get their meat plate and rice. It is a great place for locals to get to go to.

They are open six days a week, closed on Mondays, and normally open until 9 p.m.
