On Tuesday, Arizona law enforcement had to arrest a Lubbock teenager for charging through a TSA security checkpoint.

The incident occurred at 9:45 a.m. at the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, Arizona.

According to news reports, a 19-year-old, now identified as Tyrese Garner of Lubbock, tried to force his way through Terminal 4, knocked a female TSA agent to the ground before wildly running at several other agents.

Video of the altercation was posted to KAMC News' Facebook page, which you can see below.

Garner punched at least four other TSA agents before they were finally able to subdue him. Police officers stationed at the airport arrested Garner, and he has been charged with suspicion of criminal trespassing, resisting arrest, and five counts of misdemeanor assault.

It's not clear why Garner lashed out at the TSA, but police now say that drugs or alcohol may have influenced his actions. The security checkpoint was closed for about an hour, then reopened to the public.
