We're running out of time for this! The 'Lubbock Strong' t-shirts are only available for a limited time, and that deadline is Monday, June 1st, according to the City of Lubbock and United Way sites.

These special edition t-shirts have been created by the City of Lubbock, in cooperation with the United Way to support the South Plains COVID-19 Response Fund. So this is an opportunity to not only own a very limited edition shirt but to help this very important cause.

Funds raised for this effort will be assigned to help our Lubbock fight in recovery from COVID-19. Here is what they shared on the website:

The proceeds from your purchase today will go toward meeting the immediate needs of our South Plains neighbors and longterm recovery.

The South Plains COVID-19 Response Fund has been created to respond to the effects of the coronavirus. They are focused on resources that can be tailored to fit the needs of many communities and non-profit organizations.
