The Lubbock Community Development Department and Neighborhood House are working to provide Lubbock citizens assistance on their energy bills, as well as repairs to their heating and cooling systems.

Participants for the assistance in the bills must live in Lubbock County and meet income requirements set by the state, according to a news release.

This assistance is part of the Comprehensive Energy Assistance Program, which is funded by grants from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.
