Lubbock Police Make Arrest for 2017 4th of July Shooting
Lubbock Police have made an arrest in connection to a shooting that occurred on July 4th, 2017.
Lubbock police officers were called to the Park Apartments, located in the 5400 block of 50th Street for reports of shots fired. When police arrived, they found 17-year-old Andrew Ramirez with a gunshot wound. He was taken to UMC with life-threatening injuries.
After an investigation, police filed an arrest warrant for 20-year-old Alex Jordan Flores. Flores turned himself into police Tuesday afternoon (May 29) just before 5 p.m.
Flores is being held in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $50,000 bond.
