
Lubbock Police Investigate Altercation That Led to Gunshot
Lubbock Police are still investigating a shots fired call at an apartment in Central Lubbock.
The altercation reportedly occurred just before 11 a.m. on Thursday in the 2300 block of 51st Street. At least two people were involved in an altercation, where police say one person was hitting the other with a gun when it reportedly went off accidentally.
No one was injured by the gunshot, but the victim in the fight was taken to a local hospital with moderate injuries. Police have yet to identify any suspects and are still investigation the circumstances of the fight.
